Frog, No school bus...No FROGGY...

Gavin turned TWO today. We celebrated yesterday with the family. This is a pic of all of the party guests:)...and Gavin showing his mouthful of cake.

This is the final cake that Gavin decided upon. I like to give him choices...which is good...but usually ends up being ridiculous because he is two and how many definite opinions can he have:). We narrowed it down to school bus cake or froggy cake. Finally after much debate Froggy was chosen. Next was frosting flavor...vanilla or chocolate? Gavin: "Nilla, no Chocolate, no nilla" and on an on, so we did BOTH.

We had a fun Thanksgiving week. Tuesday we had the ultrasound and found out we are having another BOY!! Which I am now very excited about, in the moment I must confess I had visions of little dresses and decorating a little girls room...but I kinda knew deep down it would be a boy. Gavin will have a little sidekick and that will be so much fun, rough and tumble boys:) I know how to do that! I will not be scanning the pictures of the ultrasound because the face shot looks pretty much exactly like Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas...but the cutest darn Jack Skellington ever!!:) Then that evening us Nash women went to THE MOVIE...TWILIGHT...NOT SO GOOD. I was entertained I will give them that much, because I was laughing histarically through half of it, but very let down. But after Edward in the Books not much can compete. Ah Well ... Then we ate thanksgiving dinner at Rob's parents house, which was delicious. All in all a very fun week!

Not sure if the description fits all the way, but I'll go with it :) Some of the questions I couldn't decide on so I took it twice and the other one came out Bella so I guess I am a cross between the two, but they are both Edwards favorites! I know I am a dork, but you know you will all do this too!!!

I Love Halloween!!!!...

These are a few of our pumpkins from our very first garden! I of course had no idea what I was doing when I planted the garden; so I planted about six or seven pumkin hills in about a five foot space, and did the same with watermelons, and also zucchini(much to everyone's amusement who knows better, and apparently that IS everyone else!) So needless to say we had pumpkins and watermelons growing EVERYWHERE, and zucchini coming out our ears! We have all learned to love zucchini bread:) Gavin was very excited to pick them and put them out on the porch. You gotta love fall. Crisp air, pumpkins, crunching leaves, and best of all Halloween! We went to the "Barnyard Boo" at Thanksgiving Point the other day. It was fun and of course completely overwhelming...I didn't know it was the first day of fall break for school kids so it was a barnyard in every sense of the word! But we made it through the crowds, Gav got a pumpkin tatoo, frosted a cookie, rode a pony, threw bean bags into an enormous pumkin, a kids dream, until it all becomes to much and then tantrums begin and it is very much time to go home :)Here are some pic's of the day.

Um...I never blog... so here's an update!

So it has been long while since I have blogged anything. So here are some pics of the last couple months. Gavin has found a new love of ducks, and we feed them at a cool little park behind Lone Peak Highschool. We also recently enjoyed Alpaca Day in Alpine...I know very random, but actually quite fun AND educational!(and free which was the best part!:)) Gavin and Rob rode a little train we fed alpacas and Gavin even got to sit on one. I got a sweet new camera for my birthday-Canon Rebel xsi -so now I have no excuse not to post pics. We are also expecting baby #2 as you can see by the obligatory blog countdown badge:) So I guess quite alot has happened although everyday I think what did I do today???!!! There are conveniently no pictures of myself because I am in the HORRIBLE TERRIBLE stage of feeling pregnant, ugh, but not yet really looking pregnant, just feeling like a chubster.

A Day at Lagoon!

Rob's company had a work party at Lagoon, so really it was a family event because basically all the Nash's work there! I am pretty sure Gavin had the time of his life! He was thrilled with every ride, and kept asking for more. He rode the carousel several times! Little kids bring back the fun and excitement to things like this, I had so much fun watching him enjoy himself. Here are some pics of the day. The picture below is Gav making sure his Jazz bear was belted in beside him and ready to go. His talented uncles won the bear for him shooting hoops, he took it on every ride after that!Froggy was a favorite on the carousel.

One handy little gadget!

For any of you that enjoy making cookies, or maybe not so much the making but the eating...anyway, this little scoop is THE BEST. I randomly picked it up at the checkout stand at Bed Bath and Beyond on an impulse buy as I was waiting in line. You scoop the dough and it has a soft rubber back so you just push it and the perfect little dough ball pops right out. I have the little ice cream scoop thing and it always breaks and gets the dough stuck etc. Best of all it is like three bucks!

Here are some pics from our Memorial Day at the zoo. Gavin was so excited to go, no rain or wind could stop us! It was fun and miserable all at the same time!! But Gavin loved seeing the animals!

Da-Da!!!!

So Gavin and I are down stairs and he is rumaging through my old videos and ripping them out of the cases throwing them every where...you know our usual daily routine of destruction. When all of a sudden he stops and looks at me with a look of surprise and excitement and yells Da-Da! I looked down and he is holding this video cover in his hands;he smiles and keeps yelling Da-Da, Da-Da and pointing to Luke Perry on the front cover. I had to laugh because I must say they have identical hair and I can see the resemblence in this photo! Rob got a kick out of it when I told him, We all know Rob's secret desire is to be a sexy bull riding cowboy!

St. George

We had a little Nash family vacation in St. George this weekend. It was very fun and a much needed break from the every day mundane! There was lot's of swimming and sports and fun to be had :) Little man struttin' the bod!

SO BIG!

Gavin has finally mastered the slide all by himself! Grandma and Grandpa Nash gave him this slide for christmas and it has taken a few good tumbles to get the hang of it. He is so proud of himself he loves to show everybody!
