Disney Halloween Adventures

We went to Disneyland with Uncle Jer, Aunt Danyel and cousins Ayva and Violet. Here we are decked out in costume for Mickeys Trick or Treat Par-tay!

We hit the beach while we were there as well. The boys LOVED it, maybe even better than Disney!...maybe :)

Look at that excitement!!! WAHOOOO love the ocean!

Giant nasty turkey leg that Rob kept eyeing the whole time at Disney until he finally broke down and got one and Everett dug right in with him...Gavin and I both watched in horror :)

One of Gavs favorite rides the Haunted Mansion decked out as Nightmare before Christmas.

So much fun to be with cousins!!

Boys loved getting signatures in their autograph books. Very Fun trip very fun company.

Alpine Days

Family trip with grandma and grandpa Lund to Thanksgiving Point Gardens.

The big race the "Toddler Trot" :) They were psyched and ready to run.

Little buddies in their twinner racing gear.

Gulping down some sustenance after their big run around the block! They had a lot of fun and won ribbons and lolly pops, watched the parade and played on the bounce houses.

Summer and lovin' it!

Everett has perfected his over the shoulder water launcher shot! He may be a little dude but he will drench any unsuspecting by passer within a 10 ft range :)

How great is summer!!?? It has been anxiously anticipated at our home this year.

This little man can down a carton of strawberries or bluberries or any berry in one sitting, and often does.

Gavin has been loving his lemonade stand. He is hardcore about saving money in his piggy bank. Everett on the other hand is hardcore about drinking all the lemonade...

Handsome Gav, proud of his earnings :)

They even recruited their little buddy from across the street. Who is gonna pass up three cutie pies?!

We celebrated Robs 32nd birthday yesterday...don't ask me why he has that hat on...We did go out to eat at Texas Roadhouse and he had to sit on the saddle so maybe he was feeling like a real live cowboy.

Has it really been two years?!

Everett celebrated his second birthday on Saturday! I really can't believe he is two already, my-my how the time does fly. This means that potty training a SECOND kid is looming in the near future. bleh...I can't even think about it. Anyway on a happier note :) We had a great day. We went to the dollar store and picked out exciting things (wink-wink- take advantage of the dollar store while they still think its awesome!) We had family over to celebrate and eat cake. Everett was very pleased with himself all day long!

preparing to spit on the cake----I mean BLOW out the candle :)

Me trying once again to have a special little family moment picture...don't we look special?

He got spoiled by both grandparents! Here he is with grandma Nash.

Awaiting the guests arrival for the party.

Everett's only birthday request was to eat cake...a boy after my own heart :) He wanted blue cake, so I made him a cookie monster cake with oreo cream filling. Happy Birthday Cutie Pie!

The Substi-TOOT

Scene: Rob and I are driving along with our two darling boys in the back seat of our car.

Me: Hey Gav, guess what?

Gavin: What mom?

Me: Dad and I get to be your substitute teachers on Sunday for your class in church, cool huh?

Gavin: (in an amused voice) SUBSTI-TOOOOOOT?

Everett: Toot...he-hehehehehe

Gavin: he-he-hehehe...hehehe

Cue hysterical giggling and belly laughs...am I unconsciously raising Beavis and Butthead!!??

I am telling you I think boys come to this world with permanent immature senses of humor already built in. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Little Ninja

Gavin has been taking karate and LOVES it! He is in the "Little Ninja" class and this was his belt promotion day. He moved up to a white/yellow belt! They got to put on a little show for the parents and friends. Here are some of his sweet skills in action :)

The arm block :)

Receiving his new belt while the crowd cheers...what a little stud right?!

An attempt at a normal picture with Everett...um, nope didn't quite work...oh well, maybe next time.
